About
The Why
There is a need for thoughtfully designed tools to help strengthen continuity, organization, and follow-through within Assembly life — tools that remain aligned with the spirit and culture of Bahá'í administration.
AssemblyFlow exists in answer to that need. It is a platform that supports Local Spiritual Assemblies in the administrative aspects of their work — agenda preparation, meeting management, minutes review and approval, task follow-up, correspondence tracking, and the keeping of the Local Archives. The hope is that lifting some of this administrative weight makes more space for the teaching work and the execution of the Nine Year Plan.
The Approach
From the beginning, AssemblyFlow has been designed not as a generic productivity tool adapted for Bahá'í use, but around the actual rhythms, principles, and culture of Assembly consultation and administration. A few considerations have guided the work throughout:
- Safeguarding the confidential and sacred character of Assembly consultation and records.
- Keeping the spirit of Bahá'í consultation central to how the system is shaped.
- Supporting continuity, memory, and orderly administration in the life of the institution.
- Reducing administrative friction so that Assemblies may give their attention more fully to their spiritual and community-building responsibilities, and to the teaching work.
The purpose of such a tool is simply to support the work of the institution. The spiritual character of Assembly life must always remain primary.
Commitments
- Confidentiality first; the Local Archives are sacred.
- No surveillance, no behavioral tracking, no analytics that identify individuals.
- No selling data, ever, under any circumstance.
- Guidance from the institutions served is welcomed and acted upon.
